You can always count on Dental Health by Herre to provide the highest quality dental care. Our professional team is fully committed to optimizing your health and wellbeing – but we count on your cooperation to ensure optimal results. Your commitment to completing treatment, keeping appointments and fulfilling financial obligations is essential. We expect all patients to:
Commitment to Complete Treatment
Incomplete treatment leads to problems, complications and misunderstandings. Incomplete treatment leads to loss of teeth and further disease. Therefore, if a plan is agreed upon and started, it needs to be completed.
Commitment to Appointments
We reserve time for each patient in our practice, and rarely do we keep our patients waiting. We are here to serve you at an agreed upon time and trust that you will make every effort to keep your appointment. Therefore, our policy in this regard is very firm. We do not allow repeated cancellations or frequent short-notice changes.
Commitment to Financial Agreements
The benefits of treatment and liabilities of neglect are always explained in the written Review of Findings we have completed for you. All fees will be thoroughly explained for you. In return, we expect patients to fulfill their financial obligations to our office promptly and completely.
A Word About Dental Insurance
Most dental insurances do not cover a major portion of expenses for restorative procedures. As the cost of providing high quality care has risen, insurance reimbursement rates have remained relatively flat. Therefore, there is often a significant out-of-pocket cost for most dental services.
We do not diagnose, render treatment or set up fees based on any insurance allowances or tables. Our fees are determined on the care, judgment and skill of our professionals delivering the services, as well as the cost of operating a dental office that strives for excellence each day.
We work 100% for you - not for your insurance company. We refuse to compromise our standards by offering anything less than the complete care you deserve. On average, you can expect your insurance to cover 30% - 50% of the total fee for comprehensive dental services provided in a private practice such as ours.
